Carlisle 3⁄4 Cue

Made of ash carefully evaluated and selected for its straightness and strength, the Carlisle ¾ jointed cue has a length of 58 inches.Peradon crafts this cue in England with the use of North American Ash that is spliced with Ebonex. For those who are not in the know, Ebonex is a material developed by Peradon and it has the best rigidity for playing snooker . It is also more consistent compared to the traditional types of timber used by other manufacturers.The cue has a front splice of Bubinga and a splice at the butt section made of Sycamore veneer, which gives it a unique appearance.

The Ebonex is spliced by hand to the cue and it is then shaped to give it its characteristic round four-point pattern.After all the splicing, the cue is turned to give it a tapered appearance and it then undergoes sanding and finishing to make it smoother.  The two different sections of the joint are turned with precision and fitted 14 inches from the butt end for a total shaft length of 44 inches.The butt has a Peradon Carlisle name disc and the butt end joint can be used with extensions which are sold separately. The extension can also be fitted into the ¾ joint in the cue.
