Measuring a full 58 inches, the Century ¾ jointed cue is made in England by Peradon. The cue is made with Ebony and North American Ash, which is kiln dried. The ash undergoes a strict selection process. Ash is checked for its straightness and strength before it undergoes the turning process. After the turning, it is spliced by machine to the Ebony butt timber.Ebony spliced to the front with a Rosewood inlay put between two light blue veneers is spliced to the butt section to give the cue a distinctive appearance.
The cue then undergoes turning to give it its final shape and then it goes through sanding and finishing to give it a smoother finish. The two sections of the joint are turned with precision with the use of a single piece of brass and fitted accurately a foot from the butt to give the cue a shaft length of 46 inches. The butt comes with a name disc bearing the words Peradon Century and a butt end joint, which can accept extensions that can be purchased separately.
