Made of carefully selected ash for strength and straightness, the Clifton ¾ jointed cue is made in England by Peradon. The North American Ash is carefully selected because it makes up the shaft of the cue which will ruin the entire length of the cue. The ash is turned and spliced by machine to the Rosewood butt timber.A front splice made of Red, Black and Sycamore veneers is then spliced to the butt section of the cue to give it a distinctive appearance.
The cue goes through turning in order to achieve its tapered appearance and then it goes through sanding and finishing to give it a seamless and smooth finish. Having the two sections of the joint turned with precision using a single piece of solid brass and fitted with accuracy from the butt to give it a shaft length of 46 inches which help to reduce any joint problems. The butt bears a Peradon Clifton name disc and the butt joint can be easily connected with extensions, which are sold separately.
