Measuring 58 inches, the Crown ¾ jointed cue is made by Peradon in England and is made with Rosewood and North American Ash. Ash is selected to separate those which are strong and straight from those which are not. Rosewood is then spliced and Rosewood inlay is also put between two red veneers and also spliced to the butt section to make the cue much better looking. The cue undergoes turning to achieve its tapered appearance then it goes through sanding and finishing to make it smooth.
The two sections of the joint are turned from one piece of solid brass eliminate joint problems. The joints are then fitted with precision a foot from the butt to give the length 46 inches in length. The butt features a Peradon Crown name and the joints can be connected with extensions which are available separately. Extensions can easily be fitted into the ¾ joint or into the butt end joint.
