Made by Peradon in England, the Harlow ¾ Cue jointed cue is made from Ebony and North American Ash and has a full length of 58 inches.Ash used for the cue is carefully selected. Nothing but the best quality, strongest and straightest makes it to the production room. After the selection process, Ebony butt timber is spliced by hand to the cue and it is shaped over a certain period of time in order to get the desired tapered shape. The cue comes with four big Zebrano splices with black and sycamore veneers, which are also spliced by hand to the Ebony butt.
Shaping the cue over a certain period reduces stress to the timber. It then undergoes sanding and finishing to make it significantly smoother.Having the two sections turned with precision using a single piece of brass helps avoid joint problems. It is then precisely fitted 16 inches from the butt for a total shaft length of 42 inches. The butt has a name disc with the words, Peradon Harlow. Optional extensions can be purchased separately and can be fitted into the butt end joint or the ¾ joint.
