The Joe Davis ¾ jointed cue has a full length of 58 inches and is made by Peradon in England. It is made of Ebony and North American Ash which is kiln dried. Ash used for the cue is selected carefully and evaluated for its straightness and strength before it is turned and spliced with the Ebony butt timber. The cue has an Ebony front splice and the butt section is spliced with Sycamore veneer to give it its distinctive look. The cue goes through turning for it to get a tapered finish before it is sanded and finished to give it a smoother finish.
The two sections of the joint are turned with precision with the use of a single piece of solid brass and are fitted with precision a foot from the butt end to give the shaft 46” of length. The butt comes with a nameplate with the name of signature of world renowned pool player, Joe Davis who has nothing but good things to say about Peradon.Extensions can be easily purchased and connected into the butt end joint or the ¾ joint.
