Made by Peradon in England, the Lazer ¾ jointed cue is made from the highest grade Ash spliced with Ebonex. Ebonex is a material developed by Peradon. It has the perfect rigidity needed for playing snooker and it is more consistent compared to traditional timber, which makes it superior to most other cues. Not just any kind of Ash is used to craft the cue. Quality analysts evaluate the Ash and chose the timber according to strength and straightness. The Ebonex is then spliced to the cue by hand and is gradually shaped to result to the four-point pattern of cues which are spliced by hand.
The cue gets its tapered characteristic shape through turning and then the cue is sanded and finished to give it a smoother and finer finish.Joint issues are avoided by turning the two sections of the joints with precision and then fitted to 14 Inch from the butt for an overall length of 44 inches. The butt has a characteristic diamond shaped Peradon Lazer nameplate and the butt end joint can easily be used with extensions that are sold separately. Extensions can be connected to the butt end joint or the ¾ joint.
