Made from the best North American Ash and spliced with Ebonex, a material developed by Peradon which has the best rigidity for playing snooker and has better and more consistent density compared to traditional types of wood. The Ebonex gives the cue superior playing characteristics. Before the Ebonex is spliced, the ash is first selected carefully by Peradon the UK’s largest cue maker who are also the biggest buyer of ash in England. Only a small percentage of the ash pieces make the grade for production because the company maintains the highest standards when it comes to selection.
The cue gets its final tapered finish by turning. After getting its shape, the cue is then sanded and finished to make it smoother and easier to handle. Joint problems are avoided by having the joints turned with precision using one piece of solid brass ad fitted to ensure correct alignment. The butt has a unique Peradon Lazer nameplate in a diamond shape. The joints can be used with other extensions, which are sold separately.
