York ¾ Cue

The York jointed cue has a length of 58 inches and is made from the best grade North American Ash and Ebony.Ash is first carefully selected to ensure that nothing but the strongest and the straightest Ash timbers get to the production table. After the selection process, butt timber made of Ebony is spliced by hand to the cue.After the adding the Ebony splice, the cue is shaped over a certain period of time to get the desired tapered shape and to reduce stress to the timber. After the desired shape is achieved, the cue is sanded and finished to make it smoother.

The cue has Aqua veneers and four large Ebony splices on the butt. There are also smaller Ebony and Aqua veneer spliced to the front.Turning the two sections of the joint with precision from one piece of solid brass eliminates joint problems. The joint is then fitted 16 inches from the butt end for a total shaft length of 42 inches.The butt comes with a distinctive name plate with the words Peradon York and the butt end joint can be fitted with optional extensions which can be purchased separately. The extension may also be fitted to the ¾ joint.
