With a total length of 57 inches, the Flare three section 8 ball cue is made for Rosewood and North American Ash and it is crafted by Peradon in England. Ash used for the cue is selected with care and only the straightest and strongest make it to production before the cue is turned overtime to get the ideal tapered shape. It is then spliced with Rosewood butt timber by machine. The butt section is spliced with Red and Yellow veneers and Rosewood is spliced at the front. Once the cue gets its tapered shape, it is sanded and finished to make it smoother.
The cue comes with a quick action joint in the center, which makes it more portable. It also has a dome joint that is 8 inches from the butt of the cue. It gives players the ability to quickly remove the bottom of the cue and they will get a rounded shaft. The shaft of the cue alone can be used for plays in tight spaced Joint problems are avoided by turning both sections of the cue turned from a single piece of brass and fitted accurately. The butt has a name disc with the words Peradon Flare and a leather butt pad. Lastly, the cue features an Elkmaster tip and solid brass ferrule.
