Made from Rosewood and North American Ash, the Thunder three section 8 Ball Pool cue, just as the name implies, has three sections and has a total length of 55 inches. The cue is made by first meticulously selecting the Ash. Only the straightest and the strongest Ash make it to the production room before the Rosewood is spliced by machine to the butt. The butt section is spliced with Red veneer while Rosewood is spliced to the front to further improve the cue’s appearance.
The cue is turned for it to get its tapered shape and then sanded and finished to make it smoother. The cue has a quick action joint in the center and this makes the cue more portable and there is also a dome joint 8 inches from the butt of the cue. With the dome joint, players will be able to swiftly remove the bottom of the cue to reveal the rounded end of the shaft. The payer also has the option to use the cue for tight spaces. To avoid problems with the joints, both sections are turned with precision from one piece of brass and it is fitted for accurate alignment. As a finishing embellishment, the cue has a name disc with the words Peradon Thunder and a leather butt pad.
