Measuring 57 inches and made by Peradon in England. The Zodiac ¾ jointed 8 ball pool cue is made from Ebony and North American Ash. Ash used for the cue is selected with the utmost care and only the straightest and strongest make it to production before it is turned and spliced by machine to the Ebony butt timber. The cue also has a front splice made of Ebony and Red, Black and Yellow veneers spliced to the butt section to make it look very distinguished. The cue then undergoes turning until the desired shape is achieved, then it goes through sanding and finishing to achieve the quality Peradon smooth finish.
Joint problems are avoided by having two sections of the joint turned with precision from a single piece of brass and fitted with precision 16 inches from the butt for a total shaft length of 41 inches. The shaft comes with the female section whilst the butt has the female section. This clever design allows players to remove the 16 inches butt section and screw the much shorter mini butt that is only 6 inches long. This makes the cue 47 inches in length, perfect for shots that have to be tackled in tight spaces. The butt can also accept the 6 inches mini butt and this can lengthen the cue to 63 inches, perfect for shots that need rest. The butt also features a name disc with the words, Peradon Zodiac.
